This is especially true in the case of skin cancer screening. Our thorough in-clinic exam includes a head-to-toe assessment of your skin, including your face, mouth, scalp, hands, feet, ears, toes, and fingers. A dermatascope may be used to examine moles and any spots that may need further monitoring. In some instances, a biopsy may be appropriate.
We recommend annual in-clinic skin checks for our patients, but many things can change in a year. In between visits to us, we ask that patients monitor their bodies regularly.
